I first met director Ross McCall in 2008 after scoring the romantic comedy ALPHA MALE EXPERIMENT, for which he was the star. A chance meeting led to a quick friendship, and before I knew it Ross had begun graciously advocating for me to many of his friends in the business. From day one, a generous man.

Nearly 15 years, he's climbed into the director's chair and when I got that call, I was beyond excited. A real joy to work with the guy to whom I owed so much. And boy did he deliver. A VIOLENT MAN is a powerful, unapologetic film and Ross encouraged me to push myself sonically. The score is expansive and intimate at the same time, not unlike the film's single-location setting.

Every project feels like an experiment, but this one especially so. I hope it works for you; it was an honor to be part of. Thank you Ross for a career-spanning friendship and the support shown by all too few.
